IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
CHECK Dormancy Table to SEE WHAT'S GROWING & WHAT'S DORMANT

We remove some of the soil when we ship. There are usually no issues with a plants
out of soil or kept dry for a week or more. When you receive your plants, put them
into a pot with moist soil. Give
the roots opportunity to reachdown for water.
Please check to see if your plants should be watered at the time of year you purchase.
Some don't get a lot of water in winter and some not a lot of water in summer.
How often you water depends on how quickly your soil dries out. Most important,
don't overwater. Water well and allow your plants to dry out.

The photos on our website represent what plants look like when growing.
We are not selling the plant in the photo.
Whether your plant has flowers depends on whether it is flowering at that time.
A pot may be one large plant or more than one plant. Plants grow at a different pace and different sizes
so if you order 2 plants coming out of the same size pot, they may not be the same size.

Sedum makinoi' Ogon'

This information is from Missour Botanical garden.

Common Name: stonecrop, Type: Herbaceous perennial of Crassulaceae family,  Zone: 6 to 9. Height: 0.00 to 0.25 feet, Spread: 0.25 to 1.00 feet, Bloom Time: August, Bloom Description: Yellow-green, Sun: Full sun to part shade, Water: Dry to medium, Maintenance: Low, Suggested Use: Ground Cover, Naturalize, Flower: Showy, Leaf: Colorful, Tolerate: Rabbit, Deer, Drought, Air Pollution,
Grow in average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Unlike most sedums, ‘Ogon’ seems to prefer some afternoon shade in hot summer climates such as the St. Louis area. Drought and heat tolerant, particularly once established. This plant is not reliably winter hardy in the St. Louis area where it should be sited in protected locations or grown in containers.   ‘Ogon’ is a tiny-leaved spreading ground cover sedum that is noted for its bright gold foliage. It typically forms a dense mat growing to only 2” high and creeping to 12” wide or more. Individual rounded leaves are only 1/4” wide. Best golden leaf color usually occurs with some part afternoon shade. Leaf color gives rise to the sometime used common name of Japanese golden sedum for this plant. Tiny, star-like, yellow-green flowers appear in summer.  Not winter hardy in colder climates.  Excellent small ground cover. Use in rock gardens, flagstone paths, along rock walls or to spill over container edges.
