Pelargonium xeropjytum is in the Geraniaceae family. It was given its name by Friedrich Richard Rudolf Schlechter in 1912. Origin is central Namibia to northern west South Africa, They grow in lots of sun with gritty soil. The stem only grow to about 1/2 in diameter, but the plant can reach a high of 12-24". Pelargonium xerophytum is a winter-grower.
