The Crassula marnieriana fat hybrid grows the same as Crassula rupestris ssp. marnieriana. It is a fun, attention getting plant that can be grown as a hanging basket subject or as a ground cover. This plant stays fairly small (6"-12"+ tall) and has excellent drought and cold tolerance though prefers some sun protection. Crassulas usually grow in rocky quartz fields. Provide porous soil with adequate drainage. Bright, filtered light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.
