Corallocarpus welwitschii

Corallocarpus welwitschii is in the family Cucurbitaceae. They are from Angola, Kenya, Namibia, So. Africa and Zaire. Corallocarpus welwitschii were given their name by Bentham and the young Hooker in 1867. It is found in Southern Africa, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some sun. The caudex can grow to 20 centimetres in diameter, the vines can reach two metres in length. The flowers are pale yellow.
